Hollyhocks
Daily life in the studio is a revolving door of colours and fresh flowers.
One florist could prepare a dried florals arrangement, while another works on an extravagant peaches and pastels one. Regardless, both fill the studio with colour and laughter.

Giggles in the studio
Yet, there is always room in the imagination for something new, something delightful. Fresh out of a hectic week during Valentine's Day, this itch for more only grew more intense.

The sights in Jaisalmer
Trinkets of Memories
A recent trip to Jaisalmer revealed beauty in scenes quite unlike our Singapore cityscapes. Rather than rushing here and there, these sights oblige us to pause and savour every little thing that catches the eye.
Dusty scenes in warm sand, lush garden scenes with wild flowers and stone structures, we returned to our sunny island with a new visual language to take inspiration from.

Beauty in the Eccentric
Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, we return to our floral studio at the Gillman Barracks.
Surrounded by overgrown trees with unruly branches and unkempt bushes with messy flowers, the studio is reminded to love the eccentric and quirky.
With billowing blooms and compositions, the studio embraces nature's particularities to reflect her beauty in all forms. The bit of fern curving the wrong way. The one misshapen petal. These oddities are what make every arrangement special for the receiver.
Moving to Jaisalmer for a week reminds the studio to slow down, or in other words, to smell the flowers.
