A Spooky Floral Still Life Workshop : 29th October, Saturday, 10am - 12pm

A class to wrap up the fall season with a Halloween inspired set; of perfectly photogenic pumpkins, parsnips with a squiggle, swords from strange lands and stinky old spider silk webs. Learn more than making a floral arrangement, as we guide you through styling a table reminiscent of a Dutch Master's still life painting.

Expect a class that begins with a demonstration of a compote floral arrangement. Celebrating autumnal colours with a pop of blues to keep things interesting.

We will cover a chicken wire technique, and build a centrepiece that you can be proud of. We will show you how to shape the chicken wire, cover where to purchase, how to care and reuse each time.

Then we will make your arrangement last forever, by taking a photo of it in its own set up. We will use an array of fruits and vegetables, fabric options, stones, family treasures and the odd halloween prop all at your disposal. We'll cover the elements necessary to create textures and layers, and finally shoot a well-composed image.

All tools and materials are supplied, all creativity will be fuelled by tea and coffee!

Changes/ cancellations 

Please notify us three days in advance. Refunds will only be in the form of credits (valid for six months) that can be used to book into future workshops or to purchase product. Notifications less than three days will be considered a late cancellation and there will be no refunds.
